Your role as Service Engineer at EMW:

In the role of Service Engineer you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the technical assets of the EMW Group. You will contribute to a high-quality, reliable and safe technical fleet against optimal performance and costs. In this position you will manage a team of technical employees and dedicate individual tasks, provide guidance and set priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve equipment’s performance, in line with business demand and internal guidelines
  • Prepare and requests budgets for technical activities, manage actuals and present views to the EMW Group Fleet Manager 
  • Monitor technical performance of assets, analyze and evaluate technical deficiencies and make suggestions for improvement 
  • Develop, set out and oversee routine maintenance guidelines, procedures and policies for the EMW Fleet 
  • Interact with ongoing projects to maintain an efficient and effective project fleet

What are we looking for at EMW:

  • Relevant Degree, preferably in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar position
  • High knowledge of best heavy equipment mechanical, hydraulics and electrical
    practices.
  • Ability to provide professional advice in a broad range of areas to our workshop teams
    and applicable personnel
  • The ability to work independently and commitment to take ownership of all the
    responsibilities that come with the position
  • Good communication skills (English), both verbal and written
